<li>Look for a highlighted JOSHUA file.</li>

<li>Right Click this JOSHUA file which has the icon. (Not JOSHUA.DLL)</li>

<li>Left Click PROPERTIES.</li>

<li>Left Click COMPATIBILITY.</li>

<li>Scroll down a few lines, and put a Check mark on DISABLE DISPLAY SCALING ON HIGH DPI SETTINGS.</li>

<li>Click the APPLY Button.</li>

<li>Click the OK Button.</li>

<li>Close this window.</li>

= Correcting Greek and Hebrew Fonts =

The easiest thing to try when getting your Greek and Hebrew back is DELETE PCSB FONTS:

<ol><li>Open your system's Fonts folder by clicking Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts</li>

<li>First, verify that the files (fonts) PCSB GREEK and PCSB HEBREW are present.</li>

<li>If PCSB fonts are present - highlight and delete the files PCSB Greek and PCSB Hebrew.</li>

RE-INSTALL FONTS

<li>Navigate to the fonts folder within your PC Study Bible on your Version 4 or Version 5 program disc.</li>

<li>Highlight and copy all the fonts in the PC Study Bible fonts folder.</li>

<li>Paste the copied fonts into your systems Fonts folder that was opened in step 1. (If you receive any messages about replacing currently installed fonts click ÿes")</li>

<li>Close the FONTS folder.</li>

<li>Close the CONTROL PANEL.</li>

<li>Open PC Study Bible and check the Fonts.</li>

<li>If there is still a font problem, close PC Study Bible, restart your computer, open PC Study Bible, and check the fonts again.</li></ol>

== If the FONTS folder is not appearing ==

You will need to follow these instructions below

The missing FONT folder is located on the version 4.X Library disc. This disc will be labeled V4 Complete Reference Library, or Advanced Reference Library. Look through the CD's for PC Study Bible and find either disc.

If you are unable to locate your library disc, then download the attachments to this article, located below, and copy them into your computers Fonts Folder. Proceed to Step 9 to copy them to your computer.

<ol><li>1. Put this Complete, or Advance Reference Library disc into the CD drive and close the drive.</li>

If you don't have your disc, then go to the instructions below these and download the files that would normally show up on your disc.

<li>Windows 7 should bring up a window that has a few choices.</li>

<li>Choose the choice, OPEN FOLDERS TO VIEW FILES.</li>

<li>This will give you a list of the contents on this CD.There should be one folder named FONTS.</li>

<li>Double click this folder to open it.</li>

<li>There will be several font files here. Highlight them by pressing CTRL+A.</li>

<li>Now Press CTRL+C.</li>

<li>Close the window that shows the contents of the CD.</li>

<li>Choose the START Button.</li>

<li>Now Choose CONTROL PANEL.</li>

<li>Once the Control Panel opens, look for APPEARANCE and PERSONALIZATION and Choose this option.</li>

Depending on how your Control Panel is setup, will determine whether or not this option will be available.

<li>Choose FONTS.</li>

<li>When the FONTS screen opens, Press CTRL+V.</li>

<li>Windows may want you to choose Yes, or No, to reinstall these Fonts. Choose YES until all fonts are reinstalled.</li>

<li>Close all windows until back to the MS Windows Desk top.</li>

<li>Remove the Disc from the CD drive.</li>

<li>Now start PC Study Bible and check for Greek and Hebrew text.</li></ol>

You can also create a Fonts folder in the PC Study Bible 4 folder and put in the 4 Font files found by clicking on the link below:<br>

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uu5hcx9aldfs09l/AAD5AWj75Vs4spKH21GxL5Uda?dl=0<br>

This link will take you to a public folder on Dropbox, that will allow you to download the fonts for your library if you need them or can't find them on your disc or you don't have your disc handy.

== Other Solutions for Issues with Greek and Hebrew Fonts ==

<p>You can also try:<br>

<ol><li>Go to the folder C:/Program Files (x86)/ Biblesoft/ PC Study Bible/ Fonts.</li>

<li>Open up a Font's file.</li>

<li>Click on the Install button in the upper right corner.</li>

Note - If you get a message saying this is already installed, click on Replace to refresh the file.

<li>Repeat steps 1 to 3 for all the Font'files or any file ending in TTF.</li></ol>

Note - There maybe a Parsings file that is in this folder and that can be skipped.

One last fix is to:<br>

<ol><li>Go into the Options for PC Study Bible.</li>

<li>Click on Text Styles.</li>

<li>Click on Advanced.</li>

<li>Click on Greek and make sure the font is set to PCSB Greek.</li>

<li>Click on Hebrew and make sure the font is set to PCSB Hebrew.</li></ol>

Installation Issues

Issue - I have put the drive into my computer, but nothing comes up.

If nothing happens when you plug in the thumb drive, try opening up the File Explorer window and see if it appears under Computer or This PC. you can do this by holding down the Windows Key and then press E. (The Windows Key is in the last row of keys on the Keyboard; usually two keys from the left or right of the Space Bar.) Pressing and then releasing these 2 keys together will open a File Explorer window.

Issue - I got a message that said I didn't have the correct permissions to install any of my files

This can happen if your antivirus is turned on. Try turning that off and then run the installation file again.
If that doesn't work, then you need to make sure you are install One Touch on the Adminstrators Account and not a Standard/guest Account.

Parsings

The hover box over when the mouse is positioned over a parsing is empty

Solution - You can see the parsing descriptions by double-clicking on the parsing code. If you wish to see the parsings in the hover window, you will need to purchase the BHS/NA27 Parsings product at the Biblesoft store.

Messages

I keep getting a message that says "Please insert disc into Drive K:" when I run the installation or go to load One Touch

Solution - Drive K may be a remnant from a Windows upgrade and shouldn't affect anything you have connected or will connect in the future. It may also be due to an External Hard Drive or SD Card Reader connected to your computer. If you have one connected, then try taking it out and see if you get the same message before proceeding.
If you get the message, Please Insert disc into Drive K, follow the instructions below to get rid of that message:

  1. Close down any programs that may be opened.
  2. Unplug any non-essential devices that are plugged into your computer. Essential devices would be keyboard, mouse and printer. Non essential would be card readers or external disc/ hard drives.
  3. Open up your computer's Control Panel. (Click on Start>Search for Control Panel and open it when it comes up)
  4. Open System and Security. If nothing comes up, then skip this step.
  5. Open Administrative Tools.
  6. Open Computer Management.

  8. Right Click on Drive K.

Additional Files

Issue - I have an additional file that is a BIN type. Do I do anything with this file?

Solution - First, not many Customers have these files or they are a hidden files and you may not see it. The BIN file is an additional file that is needed for your Custom Build or file labeled #2 in order to get everything installed. You don't need to do anything with this file and if you copy your Custom Build to a different location, then you will need to copy any BIN files as well.
