PC Study Bible Updates

This page is for Updates, not Upgrades, for the Version you are currently running. If you are running a Version 3 or 4, then the Version 5.0F Update will not take your earlier Version to a Version 5.0F.

To upgrade, make sure you have a registered program. To register your program, contact Biblesoft Customer Service at cs@biblesoft.com.

If you have an account already or after you have created an account, then you can get a full list of upgrade prices by:

  1. Log in at https://store.biblesoft.com/login?back=my-account.
  2. Click on PC Study Bible.
  3. In the list that appears, click on Upgrades.

If you keep getting a registration message when you start up PC Study Bible even though you have already registered your program, then try looking for a file called caleb.exe. Windows 8/8.1:

  1. Close all major programs, MS Word, PC Study Bible etc.
  2. Look for an Icon along the bottom of the screen that looks like 3 office or manila folders and click it. This will open something called File Explorer.
  3. Note – If there is no such Icon along the bottom bar, then press and hold the Windows Key and then press “E”. (The Windows Key is in the last row of keys on the Keyboard; usually two keys from the left or right of the Space Bar.) Pressing and then releasing these 2 keys together will open File Explorer.
  4. Look for and click/tap on COMPUTER or THIS PC
  5. Open the Local Disk or C:Drive.
  6. Open the Program Files (X86) folder.
  7. Open the Biblesoft folder.
  8. Open the PC Study Bible folder.
  9. Open the Program folder.
  10. Look for the file called caleb.exe. This file will open your program, but is not the file that the shortcut will look for. You would need to create a new shortcut which I can help with if you need.
  11. You should apply the Compatibility Settings below before opening your program using the caleb.exe file or it will just say caleb.

Macros

The file that comes with your program will work on 32 bit Editions of Word, but there are a lot of security settings that you need to lower just to get it to install.

We have an updated Copy Macro file for 32 and 64 bit Editions of Word that doesn't require you to lower any security in Word, but you will need to Enable the Content in the file itself which is easier and safe over all.
